Statewide Scavenger Hunt Rules

Statewide Scavenger Hunt Rules:

By purchasing this ticket, you agree to:

1. Everyone playing must sign the Accident/Release of Liability Waiver and Media Release Authorization form before the scavenger hunt date.

2. Valid participants must be 18 or older with valid ID to claim the prize.

3. Four clues will be released. It will be your choice which path to take. The first clue will lead you to one town. All clues will be in that town for one hunt. Four towns, four hunts, each town's hunt will be uniquely different. Each town will be at least two hours from one another.

a. Games will take anywhere from ~2 hours to +9 hours to complete in each town.

4. We do encourage teams when playing. Teams can not use the same ticket number in two different towns at the same time.

a. Once a ticket number is used in one town it may not be used in another for two hours, giving time for safe driving. Duplicate ticket number submissions in more than one town will be rejected.

b. Clue codes must be submitted in order from #1 to #? to receive the next riddles. Out-of-sequence submissions will be rejected.

5. Leave a container containing clue code in the spot where you found it to give other players a chance to win, also so we may collect the game pieces at the end of the game. Thank you.

6. Only 4,000 tickets will be sold.

7. The Game is a pooled cash prize of up to $4,000(up to $1,000 per town).  To reach that cash value we need 320 tickets purchased.  Cash prize value is $19.99 x (number of tickets sold) - 10% to charity - 30% to house.

8. Clues will NEVER be on private property; you will be able to find the clue right outside of the property or on the line/slightly inside.

9. Be respectful of the property where you are searching for the clues. Most properties will be historical landmarks. Clues will be left in discrete, but visible hiding places. You will never need a tool or shovel to retrieve a clue. May need to move some loose brush or dirt though.

a. Please do not damage, deface, or destroy public or private property, especially archaeological or historical sites, when searching.
