Hi,
My name is Douglas Underwood Jr.  I'm the owner and creator of OH Great Hunt LLC.  I'm passionate about Ohio history and I love creating scavenger hunts that help people learn about our state's rich past.

I started OH Great Hunt in 2020 after I saw a scavenger hunt for a candy factory.  I thought it was so much fun, but I also thought it would be even more fun to create a scavenger hunt that focused on Ohio history.  I love traveling to different towns in Ohio and learning about their history, so I knew this would be a great way to combine my two passions.

It wasn't always easy.  There were ups and downs, but we eventually had our first and only Statewide Scavenger Hunt in 2020. It was a success! We raised $516 to donate to a local non-profit.

I now have an app that you can use to play the games virtually or on the ground.  I'm the only one who runs it, creates the riddles, puts everything in the app, and communicates with all the gamegoers.  It's a one-man show, but the money it brings in helps me and the local communities.

The money that OH Great Hunt LLC makes goes towards purchasing merchandise to hand out, advertising, and donations.  Very little of it goes into my son's pocket.  He helps me by putting up with me taking him to all these places, so it only feels right that I pay him.

I'm so glad that OH Great Hunt has brought joy to so many people in Ohio and helped enrich our children's understanding of Ohio's history.
